Sashiko Fabric

I offer a collection of basic fabric colors for Sashiko stitching.

To be successful with sashiko, it is very important to choose the right fabric, so sashiko needles can go through easily without having to push too hard. The sashiko cloth I carry is perfect for this; they are 100 % cotton, flat woven, loose woven and a little heavier than regular quilting fabrics. They certainly are good to use on quilts, too.
